Kid’s football training is different than training than an ordinary training that young teenagers face in their day to day lives. Instead of getting much effort in playing different team sports, you often start off with quite a journey with these kids hanging around. But with proper training, kids can turn into amazing football players. How will you do this? By keeping it fun and simple and let them adapt the football culture by instilling it in their minds.
Keep the Fun Going
Remember that fun is the only motivating factor that kids have. There are no trophies and scholarships on the line to replace that factor. The only reason for playing the game is to enjoy. A lot of coaches mess it up by yelling at their kids but it’s the wrong way of treating them. It will destroy their self-esteem and teamwork. Doing this will take the excitement out of the equation.
Value your Game
Kids will enjoy football under a lot more if they learn to improve a lot faster if they know they’ve been valued by their coach. You can do this by acknowledging them that they’re getting better and better while they train. If someone does this to their team it will be the coach since they serve as the team’s inspiration. A lot of coaches believe in “tough treatment” but in some other way employing tougher methods will just degrade them and it’s important that your kids feel valued first by their coach other than parents.
Build Camaraderie
Instill a sense of camaraderie knowing that kids learn how to treat their team mates with respect. Conveying with a real sense of what a real team should be is what really matters. Kids will never experience of being part of a team before but it’s natural if respect is being enjoyed the most.
